Tree Walk: Vassar's dawn redwood grove

The Vassar College campus is known for its collection of trees including this grove of dawn redwoods. Walking the college grounds is like walking through an arboretum.

I wish more of these were planted, period, but especially in groups. The only grouping I have seen in person is at Plant Delights in NC, where Tony Avent has planted a row of the gold variety 'Ogon'.
